1. Who We Are
EchoLang is operated by BlockSands AI FZE, Dubai, UAE. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the EchoLang service via Telegram or WhatsApp.
2. Information We Collect
We collect: (a) Your messaging platform user ID (Telegram/WhatsApp) when you interact with our bot; (b) Voice recordings you submit to create voice clones or request translation; (c) Text messages you send to the bot for processing; (d) Usage data such as feature interactions, request timestamps, and subscription status; (e) Payment information processed securely through our payment provider (we do not store card details).
3. How We Use Your Data
We use your data solely to: provide and improve the EchoLang service; process your voice clones and AI requests; manage your subscription; send you service-related updates through the bot; and ensure security and prevent abuse. We do not use your voice data to train general AI models or share it with third parties.
4. Voice Data
Your voice recordings are used exclusively to create and power your personal voice clone. Voice profiles are stored securely and encrypted. You can delete your voice clone at any time using the /delete command in the bot. Upon deletion, voice data is permanently removed from our systems within 30 days.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We may share data with: (a) AI processing providers (e.g., ElevenLabs) solely to deliver voice generation services; (b) Payment processors to handle subscription billing; (c) Analytics providers for anonymized usage statistics. All third-party providers are bound by data processing agreements.
6. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as you use the service. Voice clones are retained until you delete them. If your account is inactive for 12 months, we may delete your data after notifying you. Subscription records are retained for 7 years for legal and tax compliance.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to: access your personal data; request correction of inaccurate data; request deletion of your data; export your data in a portable format; object to processing of your data. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@echolang.ai or use the bot commands.
8. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption at rest and in transit, access controls, and regular security audits. However, no system is 100% secure. We encourage you not to share sensitive information beyond what is needed for the service.
9. Cookies
The EchoLang website (echolang.ai) uses minimal, privacy-friendly analytics (Plausible.io) that does not use cookies or collect personal data. No cookie consent banner is needed. If we implement any cookies in the future, we will update this policy and notify users.
10. Children's Privacy
EchoLang is not intended for users under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has submitted data to us, contact us immediately.
11. International Transfers
Your data may be processed in countries outside the UAE, including the United States and European Union. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for any international transfers.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of material changes via the bot. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
